Greg Rutherford
Olympic Long Jump Champion
Long jump medallist and Olympic speaker Greg Rutherford has five gold medals to his name, including one at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Motivational Speaker Greg is ranked as the top Long Jumper in the World, none the less a string of injuries, to his hamstring in particular and even to his tonsils have at times set him back. However, even these setbacks cannot undermine the sheer brilliance of what Greg has done for the long jump and for British athletics in general and his presentations reflect the determination and professionalism that he has put into these amazing achievements.

With his grandfather and great-grandfather being professional footballers – both of them playing for Arsenal and his great-grandfather playing for England 11 times – Greg tried out for Aston Villa football club at an early age but decided that his future sports career lay in athletics.
Greg’s other gold medals were won at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, the 2014 European Championships in Zürich, the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the 2005 European Junior Championships in Kaunas, Lithuania and most recently Greg took home a Bronze medal from Rio de Janeiro.
The Olympic speaker also has two silver medals in his collection, which he won in 2006 at the European Championships in Gothenburg and in 2010 at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
New Project
Greg’s new project Take Flight is an online fitness programme designed for all fitness levels. It mixes running, resistance & plyometric circuit training to create an effective full-body workout.
