Belle Voci
Operatic Duo
Belle Voci – Opera for everyone! From the finals of ITV’s The Voice, under Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson’s mentoring, to the FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, National award nominations, the release of their second studio album and a number one single in the download classical charts, this astonishing operatic duo from Chester are on quite the journey.
Belle Voci, Italian for ‘beautiful voices’, comprises of Emily and Sophie who met whilst working at a restaurant in Cheshire.
Four years later Emily accidentally applied for The Voice, thinking they were looking for singers for their Christmas Party. They progressed all the way to the LIVE Final performing to over 5 million viewers on primetime television. Since then they have supported the likes of Gary Barlow and Alfie Boe OBE, reached No. 1 in the Classical iTunes chart with their single ‘The Scientist’, launched two albums (available at www.bellevoci.co.uk or iTunes), and bookings for private parties and international events now stretch years ahead.
Read MoreBoth ladies have sang from an early age, Emily began as a Chester cathedral chorister and Sophie sang at her school. Emily studied at the Royal College of Music while Sophie attended the London School of Musical Theatre. Their meeting can only be described as fate: Chef Emily was singing in the kitchen when Waitress Sophie walked in; after quickly establishing that they were both Classical singers they decided to join forces, at the time neither realised quite how special the unique blend of their voices would be.
Emily and Sophie’s mission to spread opera and classical music far and wide & bring it to audiences that wouldn’t always listen to it is well underway as the dynamic duo showcase their fresh take on the classics, as well as their “Belle Voci Twists” on the new music of today.

TESTIMONIAL
It’s like perfection. The first time I heard them I was like, “Is that a pre-record? Sing that again!” … They’re perfectionists … They really are at the top of their game.
Jennifer Hudson – Speaking on The One Show about The Voice ITV, April 2018
‘We booked Bellevoci to sing at our major fundraiser for our local children’s charity in 2019. Sophie and Emily were a joy to work with and their performance on the night was amazing! They were wholly professional with exquisite and extraordinarily beautiful voices. I cannot recommend them too highly.

[they] were truly spell-binding during the Liverpool International Horse show, their involvement in the opening sequence drew the audience in and provided a dramatic and stylish start to the event.
The girls are such sophisticated and professional performers and we look forward to working with them again in the future.
Nina Barbour – Show President – Liverpool International Horse Show and Bolesworth International, January 2016
What a wonderful concert last night…..we simply loved every moment. One of our guests had tears running down his cheeks during one aria as it was had been his fathers favourite and Sophie
and Emily sang it so beautifully. What more honest praise can there be? It was an absolutely brilliant evening.
